From My Daughter . . .

My 11-year old daughter sensed that I was struggling with work issues (and a few life issues as well) and before she went to bed the other night she taped this note onto the screen of my computer.  I thought I would share it with you – wisdom from the young.

DAD

  1. Always believe in yourself
  2. Be Happy
  3. Go with the flow
  4. Lighten UP (big emphasis here)
  5. Stay calm and assertive
  6. Remember we adore you
  7. You’re simply the best, better than all the rest (she’s a big Tina Turner fan)
  8. Don’t wait for opportunities, MAKE THEM

I have this note pinned on the wall next to my computer so I can read it every day.

It helps!

Tight Lines . . .
