Several months ago I wrote a blog about the use of the internet and technology in teaching children math and science and featured a fairly new interactive process developed by Samir Khan and his Khan Academy.
I recently discovered this article from The Economist about the use of Khan Academy coursework in a school in California. It’s an article that every parent of school age children should read. School should be about learning at your own pace, and getting instant feedback to help cement the learning in place. That’s the power of the Khan Academy material.
