A lot has changed over the past several hundred years. What comes to most of our minds when we think about how humans have changed has to do with technology – air travel, space travel, cars, mobile phones, television, computers, social media. The list goes on and on. Kitchens have changed. Laundry has changed. Clothing has changed. Education has changed.
But what struck me recently, was how the human body has changed and what we see as normal now versus what was normal a few hundred years ago. I guess it can all be summed up in this picture – somehow I don’t see this as change for the better!
